Two dashboards, one record: StatBlockPro and StatBlockRPG
StatBlockFit is one app with two dashboards. Both record exactly the same training, food and body data on the same account. The difference is what they show you, and you can move between them whenever you like.
StatBlockPro
The app describes it as “The professional tracker. Workouts, routines, food and progress. No game.” Its fifth tab is your Profile, and Home carries a plain status line with your streak and your training load.
StatBlockRPG
“Everything in StatBlockPro, and your training levels up a character.” On top of the tracker it adds:
- your six stats on Home, each with its level, its XP bar and any buff running;
- Grit, the small construct on Home whose face reports how you are doing;
- daily quests and a streak chest that pay scrap and gear;
- a character sheet with your Origin, gear, techniques and an avatar you design;
- the Arena tab, in the Profile tab's place: dungeon floors, ranked play and practice bouts;
- duels with friends, sent as a direct message.
The rest is shared by both: the Fitness and Tracker tabs, Home's Today card, the Social tab and Settings. StatBlockRPG only adds the game's numbers to them, such as the stats an activity trains and the XP a log earned.
Switching dashboards later
In the appHome SettingsApp and displayDashboardBoth dashboards
- Open Settings
Tap the Settings icon at the top right of Home. In StatBlockRPG the character sheet also has a Settings button.
- Find Mode
App and display is the first group, and it is already open when Settings opens. Mode sits under the language.
- Tap Dashboard
On reads “Stats, quests, loot and the Arena are shown.” Off reads “A plain tracker. Your training is still recorded in full.”
The note under the switch puts it plainly: “You can switch at any time. Everything you log counts either way, so turning the game off now and on again in six months loses nothing.”
The first switch to StatBlockRPG: the Awakening
If you started in StatBlockPro, your character has been building in the background the whole time: every log you saved has been adding XP, skill levels and streak days to it, even with nothing on screen. The first time you switch the game on, the app opens Wake your character. If you have no Origin yet it asks for one first, adds its points on top of the levels you already earned, and shows you what your training built. Nothing is reset. The Awakening, step by step.
Switching back to StatBlockPro is instant, and so is every switch to StatBlockRPG after the first.
Getting started: creating your account and setting up
Setting up asks one question per screen, with a progress line at the top. Most screens take one tap, because a sensible answer is already selected, and nothing here asks for a calorie number. Here is the order, with what each answer is for.
- Create account
Choose a Username, which is how people find you (three to twenty letters, numbers or underscores), then your Email and a Password (“At least 8 characters.”).
- Welcome, and your language
The welcome screen offers the language: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano. The phone's own language is picked for you when the app has it. Tap Begin.
- How do you want to use it?
Pick StatBlockPro or StatBlockRPG. “Picking the tracker now still builds a character in the background. Switch the game on later and it is waiting for you.” StatBlockRPG adds one more step at the end: your Origin.
- When were you born?
Your date of birth is stored once and cannot be changed. Accounts under 13 are not allowed, and accounts aged 13 to 17 run in Guardian Mode, with some social and Arena features limited (what Guardian Mode changes).
- Three answers for your calorie target
- Which sex should we calculate for? Female, Male or Prefer not to say, which is already selected. It is used only in the calorie calculation.
- How active is an ordinary week? Five levels, from Sedentary to Very active. Pick the one that matches most weeks, not your best one.
- What are you training toward? Maintain, Lose fat, Build muscle or Recomp, with Maintain already selected. It sets a direction, never a number you have to hit.
Together they set the calorie and protein targets the server works out for you.
- Two answers for your starter routines
- How long have you been training? Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.
- Where do you train? A gym, At home or Bodyweight.
Under Fitness, Routines then lists the ready-made templates that suit these answers first. Every template stays available.
- Anything you would rather work around?
Pick any joints or capacities you would rather work around, or None of these. Nothing is hidden from your exercise library because of it; the routine editor's Use workarounds switch can then swap movements that involve them.
- What usually gets in the way?
Pick as many as apply, or None of these. The answer is kept with your account, is not shown to anyone, and does not change your targets or your routines.
- Your height and weight
How tall are you? is optional. And what do you weigh? is optional too, with a Skip for now button: without a weight there is no calorie target yet, and nothing else changes. In StatBlockPro this is the last step.
- Forge your Origin (StatBlockRPG only)
Pick a Lineage and a Class, check the Resulting stat block preview, and tap Create character. How the Origin shapes your character.
When the last step is done, Home opens, and a set of cards walks you through the app.
What your answers are used for, and where to change them
| Answer | Used for | Change it later |
|---|---|---|
| Language | The app's wording, apart from exercise, food and activity names | App and display in Settings |
| Dashboard | Which of the two dashboards you see | App and display → Dashboard |
| Date of birth | The age rules, and your age in the calorie calculation | Cannot be changed |
| Sex, activity, goal, height | Your calorie and protein targets | Body and health in Settings |
| Weight | Your calorie and protein targets (the latest weight is used) | Today's weight (kg) in Body and health |
| Experience and training place | The order of the routine templates | No setting after setup |
| Joints to work around | The routine editor's Use workarounds switch | Fitness → Working around, or Body and health in Settings |
| Origin (StatBlockRPG) | Your starting stat levels | Cannot be changed |
Finding your way around the app
Both dashboards have five tabs along the bottom of the screen. Four are the same; the fifth is where the two differ.
StatBlockPro
StatBlockRPG
What is not on the tab bar
Settings is the Settings icon at the top right of Home, in both dashboards. Beside it, the Social icon opens the Social tab.
The character sheet (StatBlockRPG) opens from your portrait or name at the top of Home, from your stats on Home or the Full sheet link beside Stats, and from the status strip at the top of the Arena (your portrait, record, Tickets and Power).
In the appHomeYour portrait or nameStatBlockRPG
Your own profile is the Profile tab in StatBlockPro. In StatBlockRPG it is Your profile, in the row of shortcuts at the top of the Social tab.
Your first day: what to do first
None of this is required, and the order is only a suggestion: it is the one that gets the most out of a first day. The last two steps are StatBlockRPG only.
- Take the tour, or skip it
The first time Home opens on a phone, a set of cards walks through Home, the tab bar and the main areas of the app. Skip ends it for good; you can run it again from Settings: Privacy, data and legal → Replay the tour.
- Log a workout
Under Fitness, tap Start empty workout, or open Routines, pick a template such as Full Body Start and tap Start Day A. Tick each set as you finish it; a rest timer starts after every set you tick except one added with the + Warm-up button (two minutes, unless the routine sets its own rest for that exercise). Finish workout saves the session. The training guide.
- Get your calorie target
If you skipped your weight, the food diary shows Set your targets: enter it and tap Calculate targets. If your height is missing too, the button turns into Add your height and takes you to Settings. Then search the 2,467 foods and log what you eat. The nutrition guide.
- Log anything else
Open Tracker, search for the activity (a walk, a night's sleep, pages read, a meal cooked), enter the amount and tap Log it. Everything except Gaming and Watching keeps your streak going.
- Roll your quests StatBlockRPG
On Home, tap Roll today’s quests. Tapping a quest card opens the place where that work is logged. When one is done, tap Claim reward before 4am. Quests and loot.
- See a fight StatBlockRPG
In the Arena, the See a fight first: floor 0 card opens a practice bout, with no ticket, no rating and no reward, three a day. Once you have a ranked result, the Floor 0 tile takes its place. When you are ready, Fight it yourself on the dungeon card starts a dungeon run at floor 1, for one ticket. The Arena guide.
The game day: why a late session counts for the day before
StatBlockFit's day does not end at midnight. A game day runs from 4am to 4am in your home time zone (the one your phone reported when you set up the account), so an activity you log at 1am still counts for the day before. The food diary shows which day it is filing under, for example Game day 2026-09-26.
Nothing runs on a timer while the app is closed. The next time you open it, the app settles every day that has finished since you last looked: that is when a day with no activity logged ends a streak, when yesterday's quests expire and when the day's free Arena ticket arrives.
| What | What happens at 4am | Dashboard |
|---|---|---|
| Food diary, water and Home's Today card | A new day starts from zero. A late snack at 1am lands on the day before. | Both dashboards |
| Streak and training load | The finished day is judged. A day with no activity logged ends the streak (food and water do not count); a heavy day adds to your run of heavy days, and a recovery day sets it back to zero. | Both dashboards |
| Daily XP cap | Each stat's soft cap starts again (see below). | StatBlockRPG |
| Daily quests | A new set of three to five can be rolled, and up to two extra bought. Yesterday's quests expire, and a finished one that was not claimed pays nothing. | StatBlockRPG |
| Tickets | One free ticket arrives on your first app open of the day, as long as you hold fewer than 10. Being away for several days still brings only one. | StatBlockRPG |
| Floor 0 | Three more practice bouts. | StatBlockRPG |
| Skill trees | One new physical challenge can be committed to. | StatBlockRPG |
Words you will see in the app
StatBlockFit borrows a few words from games. These are the ones you will meet, in plain terms. The last column says which dashboard shows them.
| Word | What it means | Shown in |
|---|---|---|
| Archetype | The title your lineage and class make together, one of 36: a Stonewake Archivist is a Runecarver. It is a name shown with yours on Home, on the character sheet and in the Arena, and it changes nothing in a fight. The Arena's 16 enemy types are also called archetypes in the bestiary; they are something else (the enemies). | StatBlockRPG |
| Buff | A temporary bonus to a stat from something you logged. It lasts 24 hours: full strength for 20, then it fades over the last 4. Logging the same activity again restarts the timer and keeps the larger bonus; it never stacks. | StatBlockRPG |
| Class | The second half of your Origin. Each of the six classes adds four starting stat points on top of the lineage. | StatBlockRPG |
| Grit | The small construct on Home. Its face reports your state: sparks while buffs are running, Running hot when you are Over-Encumbered, Recovering after recovery, and Nothing logged yet on a quiet day. | StatBlockRPG |
| Lineage | The first half of your Origin. Each of the six lineages spends twelve stat points, no more than five on one stat, and sets where your six stats start. | StatBlockRPG |
| Origin | Your lineage and class together, picked when you create your character (or at the Awakening). Every lineage spends the same twelve points and every class the same four, so no Origin starts with more stat levels than another. It cannot be changed afterwards. | StatBlockRPG |
| Over-Encumbered | The state after too many heavy days in a row with no recovery day: more than seven (one more day for every 25 levels of CON, up to ten). Your XP is halved until you recover: StatBlockRPG shows it on Grit, and StatBlockPro's status line reads “Recovery is due”. One recovery day clears it, or two in a row once it has lasted more than three days. | Both dashboards |
| Power | One number for your character: the sum of your six base stat levels, plus 0.35 for every item level of the gear you wear. A character created at signup starts at 22. | StatBlockRPG |
| Proficiency | A skill behind your activities, such as Weightlifting, Running or Reading (16 in all). Each levels on the same curve as a stat, raises your XP and your daily cap a little, and at level 10 and 30 some of them unlock a technique. No screen lists them; you meet them through the techniques they unlock. | StatBlockRPG |
| Rarity | Five tiers of gear. The base odds of a drop are Common 55%, Uncommon 28%, Rare 12%, Epic 4.2%, Legendary 0.80%. A long streak shifts them toward rarer items (a Legendary goes from 0.80% to 1.9% at best), and some rewards promise a minimum rarity. | StatBlockRPG |
| Scrap | The game's currency: earned from quests, streak chests, dungeon floors, scrapping gear and the Awakening's one-off welcome, and spent in the Gear shop and on repairs, tickets, extra quests and rerolls. In the app's words: “Nothing in the app can be bought with real money, and nothing about these odds can be paid to change.” | StatBlockRPG |
| Stat | The six attributes: STR Strength, DEX Dexterity, CON Constitution, INT Intelligence, WIS Wisdom, CHA Charisma. Each has its own level and XP bar, and none has a cap. Level 1 to 2 takes 40 XP; level 10 to 11 takes 1,600. | StatBlockRPG |
| Streak | Days in a row with at least one logged activity. Anything counts except Gaming and Watching, and a logged Rest Day counts too; water, food and imported health data do not. Each streak day adds 0.4% to the XP you earn, up to 20% at 50 days, and in StatBlockRPG every seven days earns a chest to open on Home. | Both dashboards |
| Strain | A day's physical load, shown on Home as Training load: 2.5 per hard set, 1.2 per cardio minute scaled by how hard it was, and 1.5 per 1,000 steps. 60 or more makes a heavy day; 24 hard sets alone reach it. | Both dashboards |
| Techniques | The attacks you carry into the Arena, each powered by the stat behind its damage type. You carry up to four. Everyone starts with one of six starters, picked by their highest stat, and twelve more unlock through proficiencies. | StatBlockRPG |
| Tickets | Entry to an Arena fight: each dungeon floor attempt and each ranked match costs one, while practice bouts and duels with friends are free. You start with five, get one more on your first app open of each game day (up to 10), and can buy one for 250 scrap when you run out. | StatBlockRPG |
| Tribunal | Where a log big enough to need a second opinion is checked by other adult users. Its XP is held until the review decides: it lands if the claim is verified and not at all if it is rejected, and if nobody votes before the deadline, it counts anyway. Reviewing other people's entries is off until you turn it on. | Both dashboards |
| XP | Experience. Every activity you log turns into XP for the stats it trains, within the daily soft cap. StatBlockPro keeps counting it without showing it, which is why nothing is lost when you switch. | StatBlockRPG |

Frequently asked questions
Is StatBlockFit free?
Yes. StatBlockFit is free, with no advertising and nothing to buy. Scrap, the currency in StatBlockRPG, is earned in the app and cannot be bought, and the app states it plainly: “Nothing in the app can be bought with real money, and nothing about these odds can be paid to change.”
Does StatBlockFit work with no signal?
The workout logger does: “Sets, reps, load and RPE with a rest timer between them. Saved on this device as you go, so it works with no connection.” The 288 exercises and the 2,467 foods are inside the app, so the exercise library and food search work offline too, and a routine you have already opened can be started without a connection.
Saving a finished workout, logging a Tracker activity and adding food to the diary need a connection. If saving a workout fails, it stays on the phone until you can save it.
Which languages does the app speak?
Five: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano. Change it any time in Settings under App and display. Exercise, food and activity names keep their English catalogue names. With the app set to German, 212 of the 288 exercises and 523 of the 2,467 foods also show a German name, and search finds either name whatever language the app is set to.
Can I switch between StatBlockPro and StatBlockRPG?
Yes, whenever you like: Settings, App and display, then the Dashboard switch under Mode. Both dashboards record the same data, so nothing is lost either way. The first switch to StatBlockRPG opens the Awakening, where your character is revealed.
What is an archetype in StatBlockFit?
The title your Origin gives you: one of 36 names made from your lineage and class (a Stonewake Archivist is a Runecarver). It is a name only. The Arena's bestiary also calls its 16 enemy types archetypes, which is a separate thing.
Is my data private?
Your training log, food diary, weight and measurements are never shown on your profile; only what you post or pin appears there. Your health and fitness data is never used for advertising, and the app carries no advertising at all.
Other people see your profile: your name, picture, bio, pinned routines and meals, and your posts. People using StatBlockRPG also see your archetype and Power, and your stat levels and Arena record unless you hide them. You choose who can open your profile under Who can see your profile when you edit it: Public (the default for adults), Friends or Private. A public adult profile is also listed on the Arena leaderboard, at the starting rating even if you never fight, unless you turn off Show on leaderboards under Privacy, data and legal in Settings. The same group is where you export your data or delete your account. The privacy policy has the details.
Is StatBlockFit on iPhone and Android?
Both are coming soon: Android first, then iOS. The support page carries the current release status. On Android the app can read steps, sleep and active calories from Health Connect; Apple Health is not connected.
