The Tavern

The Tavern: high-protein recipes

16 dishes for people who train, each one an item in the Tavern's stock, rarer the more protein it carries. Every number is added up from the ingredients, with USDA's food data.

How the Tavern works

The recipes are sorted from the most protein per serving to the least. Each card shows the protein, the energy and the time it takes; open one for the ingredients, the method and the full macros per serving.

Questions

Where do the nutrition numbers come from?

Each recipe is a list of ingredients and their weights, and its numbers are added up from USDA FoodData Central, the public-domain food database the StatBlockFit app uses. They are estimates: brands, ripeness and portions vary.

How is the rarity decided?

By protein per serving: Legendary from 45 g, Epic from 40 g, Rare from 35 g, Uncommon from 28 g, and Common below that.

Can I log these in the app?

Yes. In StatBlockFit you can build any of these as a saved meal from the same food catalog, and its macros are worked out from the ingredients for you.
