How the Archivist trains
Learn the method, then run it. Pick a programme with a reason behind every choice, log every set, count your hard sets per muscle each week, and plan the lighter weeks before you need them. Change one thing at a time so you can tell what worked.
A sample week
| Day | Session |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Upper body, heavy |
| Day 2 | Lower body, heavy |
| Day 3 | Rest, review the log |
| Day 4 | Upper body, volume |
| Day 5 | Lower body, volume |
| Weekend | Easy cardio and planning |
Adjust it to your time and your recovery; any sensible week you keep beats a perfect one you drop.
Muscles to look after
This way of training leans on Upper back, Hamstrings, Rear delts, Obliques. Their pages on the body map list the movements that train them and what balances them.
The Archivist in StatBlockRPG
In the game edition you pick a lineage and a class when you create your character. The Archivist starts you with +3 Intelligence and +1 Wisdom, on top of what your lineage gives; Intelligence and every other stat then grow from the real activity you log. With each of the six lineages, the class makes one of these archetype titles:
- EmberscribeEmberkin Archivist
- CloudreaderPalewind Archivist
- RunecarverStonewake Archivist
- LumenscribeLuminarch Archivist
- SaltscribeTidebound Archivist
- LedgerkeeperGiltmoor Archivist
